Captured by the Ajogu vigilantes on the orders of Chief Priest Atemebo, Omera’s arch-nemesis, things seemed to hit rock bottom. But in true dramatic fashion, Omera had a revelation—literally. The ancestors themselves paid him a visit. They weren’t there to play games, either.
In this revelation, Omera learns his forefather was once the Chief Priest of Ajogu—a man of kindness, selflessness, and true leadership. This same forefather met a gruesome end, betrayed and murdered by his own apprentice. And guess who that apprentice turned out to be? None other than Chief Priest Atemebo, the very man now hounding Omera. Talk about ancestral drama.
But wait, it gets juicier. Turns out Atemebo didn’t just commit murder; he made a pact with an evil spirit. This pact gave him power but at a huge cost—trapping the souls of Ajogu’s ancestors and plunging the village into calamity. Now, here’s where it gets real: Omera is the only one who can save Ajogu.
