Funbi is a calm-headed, protective, resilient, resourceful, and pragmatic young woman who lives in Ajakoro, a rough neighborhood where survival is not just a skill but a necessity. Funbi’s parents are hardworking people who do their best to support the family. Her father, Mr. Idowu, is a rebel, unafraid to speak his mind. Her mother, Segilola, runs an Ajo business, too, on the side.
