New romances bloom for Marcus and Rhodes – Dust

The Doherty boys have had their fair share of romantic ups and downs. Despite being total eye candies, like, seriously, they could be on the cover of any magazine, luck hasn't always been on their side when it comes to love. Take Marcus, for example. He believed Zainab was his one true love, but family obligations forced him into marrying Zara, who tragically died from poisoning on their wedding day. Ever since Marcus has been trying to win Zainab back, but his efforts have been in vain.

Rhodes' heartbreak and new hope
Then there's Rhodes, who also mourns Zara, the woman he truly loved. Even though he was expected to marry Sugar, he tried to convince Zara to elope with him, but she refused. Who knows, maybe she would still be alive if things had gone differently.

Watch Rhodes break the news of his wedding to Zara

New beginnings for Marcus and Sugar
But it's not all doom and gloom for the Doherty boys. New romances are starting to blossom from the ashes of their past failures. Marcus seems to be developing feelings for Sugar, especially after hiring her and standing up to his mother when she fired Sugar. Sugar, meanwhile, has been daydreaming about Marcus. This budding romance is complicated by the fact that Sugar was once engaged to Marcus's brother, Rhodes.

Rhodes' growing feelings for Ivie
As for Rhodes, he has fallen head over heels for Ivie, who is taking over Zara's foundation. He's conflicted, often seeing Zara's face when he looks at Ivie, but the feelings are undeniable. He's making an effort to woo Ivie, and it seems to be working. This could be the start of a beautiful relationship if he can let go of Zara's ghost.

What's next for the Doherty Boys?
With these two boys navigating new and complicated love lives, we can't help but wonder what the future holds for them. We will just have to tune in to Dust every weekday at 8pm on Africa Magic Showcase to find out!
