Mainly raised by her grandmother, Bolanle is assumed to be Ireti's daughter; however, there is a rumor that Ireti's mother was fond of going around town with different men. Upon Ireti's return from Oke-Ala, she was pregnant with Demilade, and the hatred for her assumed sibling began; Bolanle constantly grumbled and never appreciated the little sacrifices her mother made for her. She is rude and outrightly disobedient; however, Bolanle doesn't know that she is not Ireti's biological daughter and should instead be thankful that Ireti chooses to raise her.
