The Yaw hosted and Indomie sponsored Owambe Saturday really was just the perfect medicine to another Saturday night under Lockdown. To say that it debuted at a time where everyone needed that kind of groove, is an understatement. No wonder then, that so many are sad to see it go!
Perfect timing!
The show premiered at a time where everyone was getting their heads around the idea of "a new normal' thanks to Covid 19 Lockdown across the world. No one would have ever thought that it would be a complete vibe to dress up in your Aso ebi and dance like you are at an Owambe party right in the comfort of their lounge. This would've probarbly seemed silly beginning of 2020! But, came in Owambe Saturday and everyone was joining in on the fun and flooding social media with #AMOwambe filled posts.
Many ways to engage and win
Each week, viewers could win Indomie Nigeria sponsored goodies by either cooking, dancing or answering a simple question on Africa Magic's Instagram account.
