Pastor Momodu is the senior pastor of Sanctuary Chapel. He lives his life based on a single principle: to do as God commands, even when it doesn’t make sense. It is the reason why he leaves his pregnant wife alone and goes to the church after he’s alerted that the choristers holding rehearsals have been held hostage. It is the reason why he abandons his wife in the hospital to remain in the church.

It is also the reason why he decides to remain steadfast and believe in God when he is summoned to the hospital when his wife's condition becomes complicated. Pastor Momodu’s goal, in the end, becomes raising money to save the life of the boy in the hospital. He will go over and beyond, even endangering his position as the senior pastor to see the task God has entrusted to him come to fruition.
