From the first episode of Africa Magic Yoruba's Iji Ade, Ademide's tenure as the Regent was a tumultuous journey filled with challenges, threats, and even deaths. While she was able to tackle most issues, all she looked forward to was finally being free to leave Gbaremu and live life as she pleased alongside her mother once a new King emerged. However, their initial joy at the wish coming to pass was short-lived as someone mysteriously murdered her mother.
Who could it be?
The lead suspect, Micheal, who was keen on getting his revenge and murdering Ademide and her mother, orchestrated his death due to a lack of patience and evil deeds. Amoke's father, Prince Oyekan, had promised to bring Ademide to him after he helped his son, Oyetola, secure his win as the new King; what he didn't know was that Amoke's father was more focused on getting revenge for poisoning Amoke in a bid to get rid of their love child.
Amoke's father lured Micheal to the black river, and instead of meeting Ademide in the car as expected, he met his boss, Lagboka, who shot him on sight. Besides Micheal, another aggrieved suspect was Oloye Otun, who had cursed the entire Adeyemi family for killing his daughter, Abimbola, taking his chieftaincy title and not giving him a chance to become the King.
