Brother Ignatius is the 37-year-old accountant at the local church who has lived a pretty unremarkable life until church activities brought him closer to the vibrant and beautiful Amara. Usually a staunch Christian with a strict Roman Catholic upbringing, Amara is a serious temptation that forces him to sin often. Her proposal that they leave the country and start a new life leads him to steal slowly and consistently from the church coffers until he's gathered enough fortune to start the new life Amara desperately craves. Brother Ignatius's crisis faith devolves into rage and darkness when he realizes the truth about Amara.
