Dust

Zainab has led a difficult life despite her young age, leading to her leaving everything she knows and fleeing abroad. She returns to Nigeria seeking a fresh start and a more secure foundation for her love, among other things. She has grown weary of the patch-patch existence she and Marcus live abroad and is coming home with the hope that they can put the past to bed and move on to their glorious future together. Her problems begin when the past refuses to stay buried, showing up in her everyday life and reminding her that no matter how far she runs and how much she tries to reinvent herself, you can’t run from blood and family is forever, for better or for worse.
