The finale episode of Africa Magic Yoruba’s Inu Jin delivered edge-of-your-seat drama and emotional depth. From Funke aiding Officer Dele in tracking down the traffickers—Pastor Tunde and Ngozi—to Officer Dele announcing the demise of Iya Biliki and uncovering vital intel on the trafficking ring’s hideout in Enugu, justice finally felt within reach.

But just as hope began to rise, tragedy struck the Aremu household.

Rolake visits the Aremus

As Morayo, Yinka, and Wunmi Aremu enjoyed a quiet evening, waiting for Teni to return from what she said was a quick visit to her friend Rolake, an unexpected knock came at the door. It was Rolake, confused and concerned, as she came looking for Teni.

The room fell silent. The Aremus were stunned. Teni had claimed she was going to see Rolake, but Rolake insisted she hadn't seen her all day and was only checking in on her.

Teni visits Adedeji

What they didn’t know was that Teni was at Adedeji’s house—where the unthinkable happened. Adedeji laced her drink, intending to assault her. He followed through with the heinous act. Afterward, while on a phone call, he didn’t notice that Teni, bloodied and in agony, had mustered enough strength to flee.

She was found by strangers who carried her broken, nearly lifeless body back home. As her family gathered around her in horror, she used her final breath to name her abuser: Adedeji

Morayo takes justice into her own hands

Morayo was shattered. Adedeji had once violated her and, now, her beloved younger sister. Consumed by rage and pain, she stormed into his house and slit his throat. She stabbed him repeatedly, sobbing and screaming in anguish.
