For the longest time, Dan and Chief Donatus were fighting like sworn enemies. Their back-and-forths were so intense, it felt like the WWE had relocated to their living room. Meanwhile, poor Chioma was stuck in the middle, trying to keep her brother Dan and her uncle-figure Chief Donatus from actually throwing hands. It wasn’t cute, and it definitely wasn’t peaceful. At some point, Chioma had had enough. She rolled up her sleeves, put on her investigator hat, and got to the bottom of all the madness. What did she find? The snake in the grass was Ubong all along.
He was the one feeding both men bad advice, whispering strategies that made them hate each other while he sat pretty, enjoying the drama and the free roof over his head. It turns out he told Dan not to let Chief’s girlfriend into the house, knowing full well that would spark a fight. Then he told Chief to invite both of Dan’s love interests to the house at the same time, just to cause a scene. Honestly, if this guy ever decides to work in politics, he’s already qualified.
The moment of truth (and marching orders)
Once Dan and Chief Donatus pieced everything together, there was an immediate ceasefire between them. And after that? The only logical next step was to evict the real enemy: Ubong.
Prosper, the gateman, was given special marching orders to pack up Ubong’s things and throw him out without a second thought. It was swift, it was ruthless, and frankly, it was well-deserved. Poor Ubong didn’t even get time for small begging. One minute he was inside, the next he was standing outside with his bags, wondering where it all went wrong.
Just to be clear, he wasn’t just banned from the flat; they made sure he couldn't even set foot inside the compound again. If this were medieval times, they would have probably built a moat around the house too, just to be safe.
From Flatmate to Frank’s financial disaster
Now, you would think that would be the end of Ubong's wahala, but nope. Man’s hustle continued, and he somehow became Frank and Mimi’s problem. Frank, the forever unfortunate nice guy, had to dip into his pockets to pay for Ubong’s hotel accommodation. Before he could even recover from that unexpected expense, Ubong managed to get into a messy altercation with a sex worker, and boom, more bills and more damage that Frank has to clean up.
Honestly, at this rate, Frank should be sending Ubong an invoice. Or better yet, start billing him per headache caused.
What’s next for Ubong? Honestly, your guess is as good as ours! Catch all the hilarious drama and fresh madness on My Flatmates, airing weekdays at 7 PM on Africa Magic Showcase. Trust us, the chaos is just getting started!
