Character: Dr Elisabeth Shannon

British born of Indian descent, Shelley Conn made her American television debut on Terra Nova. After training at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, her British television career took off in 2001 when she starred in the police drama Mersey Beat. In 2002, Conn made her West End theater debut, and since then, she has starred in a variety of British film, TV and stage productions.

In 2007, Conn starred in the political drama Party Animals, as well as the action adventure series Strike Back. She is best known from her role as Jessica on the hit drama Mistresses, in which she starred for three seasons.

Conn’s film roles include Tim Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Possession opposite Gwyneth Paltrow and Aaron Eckhart and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts-nominated Dead Set.
